3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.

Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.

4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source. Clickbait titles may be removed.

Posts which titles don’t match the source may be removed. If the site changed their headline, we may ask you to update the post title. Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.

7. No duplicate posts.

If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.

9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.

All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.

ATTORNEY GENERAL PAM BONDI for the first time acknowledged the existence of a secret list of domestic terrorist organizations during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday.

“I know Antifa is part of that,” Bondi said under questioning about the list from Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon, D-Pa., the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Constitution and Limited Government. Bondi refused to offer any further details about the “domestic terrorist organization” database being compiled under President Donald Trump’s National Security Presidential Memorandum 7, or NSPM-7.

“The goal was to get her – even by denying that she would produce it – to acknowledge that it existed and then raise the alarm,” Scanlon told The Intercept.

The Justice Department had previously refused to acknowledge the list to The Intercept, despite being asked scores of questions about it over a period of months.

Yeah. It's sitting on her desk right now. She just hasn't had time to review it yet.

ACAB

However, Porco Rosso is the only pig that gets my respect.

[–] boaratio@lemmy.world 2 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

Nah, he was a class traitor. A kind one, but the result is the same. Sheep in bondage. Bah Ram Ewe indeed.

I have a public list of terrorists. Pam Bondi is on it.

The list is the entire GOP.

[–] Typhoon@lemmy.ca 35 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Also includes many Democrats.

[–] nomy@lemmy.zip 37 points 1 day ago

Only one group proudly proclaimed "We are all domestic terrorists!"

[–] Witchfire@lemmy.world 16 points 1 day ago

If they start branding everyone who is even slightly pissed off as a domestic terrorist, they shouldn't be surprised when people turn to violence

It's getting to the point that if I'm not on this administration's list of domestic terrorists. I would wonder where I went wrong in life.

Acting director of ICE Todd Lyons testified no list exists at the same time to a different senate committee

Ah, that's how you do it. Get them in separate hearings concurrently. Just let that prisoner's dilemma cook, since I doubt any one of them has studied game theory.

Oh shit so one of them lied under oath and the other exposed it. Fuck that's beautiful

It's all just a house of cards that's on the edge of collapse.

[–] LSNLDN@slrpnk.net 9 points 1 day ago

Pleeeeeeease collapse soon I want a good summer

Love to see social engineering at work.

If this doesn't turn out the vote for Dems across the U.S. I'm afraid nothing will... Except maybe legalizing weed.

[–] DaMummy@hilariouschaos.com 12 points 1 day ago

What if I told you that being on a list and being labeled a domestic terrorist means you don't get to vote. Completely random that it's left leaning groups like Antifa that are labeled that though. Oh and those photos ICE are taking of protesters, those totally aren't to add them to a list of domestic terrorists so they also can't vote. Now do you understand why Bernie wanted the uni bomber to be able to vote as well?

  1. The ICE contractor GEO Group is a spin off of the parent company Wackenhut Corporation. A private security company created by a right-wing former FBI agent, George Wackenhut who collected millions of files on Americans suspected of being dissidents throughout the 1960s.

  2. The founder and current CEO of GEO Group, began working with Wackenhut in the 1980s and once called George Wackenhut, the person he most admired.

  3. Today on an earnings call, the CEO of GEO Group announced that despite slumping stocks due to shareholder backlash against contracts with ICE, the company has reached record profits due to Trump dumping several large contracts on the company, which have increased income by 800%. The CEO also announced the company would be helping to build and run the warehouses recently purchased by the Trump administration that will be be used as concentration camps.

  4. Interestingly, in addition to Communism and opposition to the Vietnam war, the unconstitutional surveillance files kept by GEO parent company Wackenhut, focused on the broader left counterculture of the 1960s, and appear to document the right’s evolving definition of “subversion."

  5. Interestingly, the government administration partnering with Wackenhut Corporation's spinoff company, Geo Group, is using a national security presidential memo (NSPM-7) that appears to document the right's evolving definition of "subversion" in order to target Americans for surveillance based very vague claims the memo cites as evidence of "domestic terrorism."

  6. Can you add 2 and 2 together?

[–] dejected_warp_core@lemmy.world 3 points 19 hours ago

This kinda/sorta confirms what I've been suspecting. None of this debacle is recent. It's fascist-right movement that hit critical mass, possibly during the pandemic, that has been stewing for decades if not longer.

I know that, philosophically, fascism and all its manifestations has ties into unchecked capitalism, colonialism, and slavery; stuff that goes hundreds of years back in North America. In this comment, I'm talking about the more home-grown variety that picks up before or during McCarthyism.

[–] aislopmukbang@sh.itjust.works 28 points 1 day ago (1 children)

This is just a list of cool people. Don't we all want to be cool?

[–] SuiXi3D@fedia.io 14 points 1 day ago

I’d love to be very cool.

[–] switcheroo@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago

You can tell how stupid she is by letting this happen. she needs more alligator training in Florida bring her back. we gotta show her how to put the boots on and wear the flannel.

[–] tomiant@piefed.social 9 points 1 day ago

Her skin is trying to flee her face out of shame of being associated.

I thought this was pretty much already known since we now know who the head of ANTIFA is.

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Their domestic terrorist list be like.

[–] TheReturnOfPEB@reddthat.com 8 points 1 day ago

While there is a lower class, I am in it, and while there is a criminal element I am of it, and while there are domestic terrorists I am one, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free.

[–] muusemuuse@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

No it doesn’t. We already knew about that. It’s not secret at all.

[–] deliciEsteva@piefed.world 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Is it the GOP's member list?

[–] halcyoncmdr@piefed.social 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

CPAC admitted they are domestic terrorists after all.
