Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. 4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

It's like stupid school kids who used all these resources to cheat their way out instead of actually learning something. This is the worst group project in history.

[–] homes@piefed.world 23 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (1 children)

And just like those kids, as adults, getting away with it is how they define themselves. By how much absolute garbage they can be/do without getting in trouble for it.

That’s who these people are. That’s all they’ll ever be.

And this is what happens when people like that get power

This is why I suspect the satanic stuff sticks around. Kinky role playing mixed with believing they did the crime and the ritual and still haven't been caught, life seems great, must be magic, keep doing magic.

Getty photographer Roberto Schmidt snapped a picture of the AG with a document titled “Jayapal Pramila Search History” —— along with numerous file names and document descriptions.

If they would have put in this kind of effort to actually follow the law, we could have gotten all the files. But they want to hide shit until Trump is out of office

[–] Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world 10 points 3 days ago

It takes a lot more effort to follow the law.

... to keep Trump from ever leaving office

[–] homes@piefed.world 16 points 3 days ago (1 children)

He’s gonna die one day soon. Nothing can stop that.

A brain in a jar like Futurama.

[–] Broadfern@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

What brain?

[–] 4am@lemmy.zip 6 points 3 days ago

They want to hide it for much longer than that

There's a more complete article at The Guardian, if anyone's interested.

So much of what Bondi said was a projection you could see from space, like when she told Jamie Raskin:

“You’re a washed-up loser lawyer. You’re not even a lawyer.”

I'm sorry, who's a washed up loser lawyer that's not even a lawyer? I looked up their law licenses. While Bondi is somehow still a member of the Florida bar, Raskin is retired from the bar in Massachusetts, inactive in DC, and active in good standing in Maryland,** and frankly his legal CV wipes the floor with her.

It's like hearing a kindergartner trying to diss a professor of constitutional law . . . oh, wait, Raskin is that too.

But there's more. When Pramila Jayapal asked Bondi to turn around and apologize to the victims who were standing right there, just a few feet behind her, she refused with this line:

“I’m not going to get in the gutter with this woman. She’s doing theatrics,” Bondi said.

I'm sorry, who's doing theatrics? Could it be the one person who made a joke out of every question put to her, insisting that she not be accused of a crime, insisting that she not be told the rules of the hearing by the chairman of the committee, turning every serious question into an opportunity to slander the questioner with juvenile insults? Those theatrics? Hmmm.

At yet another point, Bondi seemed to forget that she herself was Florida AG from 2011-2019 and should have prosecuted Epstein long before NY did it for her, having had many years in which to do so herself:

Bondi tried to deflect blame away from the Trump administration by accusing Massie of not pressing previous administrations on Epstein. Epstein’s sex trafficking took place over decades.

Magic mirror, anyone?

** I can't link to the specific entry in Maryland, but I linked the search tool. Look for Jamin Raskin.

She, and all the department figureheads, are experts at making us waste our time. Bondi is really not worth it to listen to - complete waste of time. But she spouts bullshit that's obvious bullshit but takes quite a bit of explaining to show why it's bullshit. That slows the resistance down.

I'm not going to get in the gutter with this woman. Pam Bondini said from the deepest level of the sewers
