/c/TenForward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. Use spoiler tags in comments, and NSFW checkbox for posts.
This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

Fun will now commence.

This far (up the tub), no further! And I will make them Zestfully clean!

It is possible to use no soap and still be clean. That is not a dirtiness. That is water.

Even in the dirtiest circumstances, there is always a soap- sometimes only a bubble. Trust that soap. Scrub a way back, no matter what it takes.

I'm curious as to why the Earl Grey scented isn't more popular.

It's bergamot orange. Citrus fruit shower gels are popular af.

That's for when your bladder's full and you end up going where no man has gone before.

With 7 of 9 essential vitamins and minerals in every bar.

Lower your shields and let the rest of the crew go on an away mission as you enjoy an ancient ritual of a water bath.

Transport yourself to Risa without the need for a shuttle in your own home.

Re energise your warp core with this bar of dilithium soap crystals.

My friend's got a bar of Picard soap in his bathroom. :)

When you take the actual soap out of the packet, does it have the image or writing embossed on it, or is it just a plain bar of soap with a cool box?

[–] SatyrSack@quokk.au 10 points 2 days ago

Starfleet logo:

I'd love to know as well. His is still in the packet. It's more of a decoration gimmick to him.

[–] sefra1@lemmy.zip 2 points 3 days ago

That's nice, but I prefer a sonic showed everyday.

[–] ruuster13@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

There's no danger in dropping soap in the equitous 24th century.

[–] swab148@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 days ago
