We need to change this. It’s time for government to stand up for their citizens. Tax the ultra wealthy.

CEO's wage should be capped to a Max multiple of the lowest paid worker. 10x, 20x,etc but still tied to their workers. If they want more money, pay the workers more.

One of the core demand of the German satire party "The party" was to cap the maximum manager wage to the 50,000x of an average workers wage

Those outlandish Germans go too far!

I'd rather have a tax. Because if you cap compensation, the company still has the money.

You're not wrong, but if it's tied to the workers wage then there is incentive to increase their wage as well. At least until the next loophole is found, of course.

The problem is they would go full on moving to other sources of incomes as they already do for part of it today. You'd need to cap any form of incomes for it to work, that's much harder to do.  I don't think this is something that can be solved with current capitalism, sadly I don't think it'll change before it's too late.

I think a more useful metric is how many average Canadian lifetimes of income they make a year.

When you look at these people make 10-20x what you’ll make in your entire life, it really makes you think.

If I were that rich I’d work like 1 year, then retire. Who needs much money? My wants don’t go that big. I think most people’s wants don’t go that big.

Median wage. The average is skewed because of the very rich.

Who needs much money?

A lot of them, when they get money, they start moving around in circles where they look at their fortune and say "those are rookie numbers"
