You can buy an immersive metal strainer for not too expensive and some loose leaf tea, on top of having less microplastics, it's significantly higher quality (tea in bags is dust left over after the processing of loose leaf tea).
Also, and this is genuine confusion so sorry, what do you mean by it's sexist to use the term normally? Is the name of a strainer or cheesecloth or something sexist? Genuine confusion, sorry, I don't understand that part of the text.

When you or anyone else speak the word/term for the common name for our species, I will not use it, you are using a word/term that at it’s root IS NOT Homosepien (SP?) or anything as general as that, but the male gender, thus sexist.

I think you should start getting looseleaf tea once you're done with the bags, or just give up on the bags entirely.
The problem with the people saying get off of bagged teas, I agree, but we have tons of those bag teas & what do we do with them, if we did?

Do you compost? That's the first suggestion I'm finding, but I don't garden so that wouldn't be a useful suggestion for me.
If the boxes have been opened, I don't know what org will take them, but if you have sealed containers, local food pantries will grab them. If there's a local buy nothing group, you might find takers even with open boxes. If you work in an office or group setting, you could give it away. If there's a local group like a church that has meetings with tea or coffee, you could possibly be like "i have a million boxes of stuff I'm not using" but they might be like other orgs and not want to take open boxes.
Some towns will have special recycling times for stuff like that. Biowaste, I think it's called?
If you're getting rid of the bags due to microplastics then I don't see how it would help if you add them back in to your diet via compost.

I had the same Problem bit with loose tea containing very small peaces. Got a thingy with lasered holes, these are much smaller so no more stuff in my tea Edit: it looks like a tiny cup, you put it in you cup and it stays in place with little wings
You can get drawstring tea bags that are made to be filled with your own looseleaf tea. I used to buy some of the single use paper ones before I found a steel tea ball that I liked, but I've also seen reusable ones made out of muslin. Either way it's pretty easy to find plastic-free versions.

Most tea shops that have a web store sell some version of the paper ones. The shop I usually order my green tea from has the fold-over type for $5.50-$6.50 per 100, but if you google "plastic free drawstring tea bags for loose tea" tons of options come up.

Try a French press maybe? You can also rinse off the tea dust before steeping which may help
French press works a treat for tea ;)
