She explains how the U.S. criminalizes Haitians in the U.S. while escalating military threats, occupation, and “gang suppression” policies that destabilize Haiti itself. “What's happening in Haiti is what they want everywhere else,” says Pierre. “They want the same for Venezuela. They want the same for Cuba. They want controlled chaos.”
