I be had two major surgeries, I've only been given oxy for one of them. I took it maybe two days and got off of it as quickly as possible. I hate taking pills, and I didn't feel like I needed it anyway. Pretty much just made me tired.

Knowing absolutely nothing about you or your taste in movies other than that you're on drugs, my recommendation is Lifeforce (1985).

Hardcore Henry. Not kidding. You'd think that'd be too much. But with the movie at +5 speed, and you at -3 speed, it comes off pretty well.

Switch off them as soon as possible to avoid getting backed up.

I've never liked to take opiates of any kind. My go-to for pain is "Poor Man's Percocet:" 2 Ibuprofen (Advil), and 1 Acetaminophen (Tylenol). If the pain is really bad, you can double them, but don't take them more than every 6-8 hours.

The Ibuprofen is metabolized by the kidneys, and the Acetaminophen is metabolized by the liver, so neither one overwhelms your organs, and the effect together is far better than the individual effects alone, and I've actually heard multiple doctors say that it approaches the efficacy of an opiate, without the addictive dangers.

I have a very physical job, and at the end of the day, I can sometimes feel almost broken, and this works great for me.
