Fyi, if you ever want to tint wood like that again, leather dye works REALLY well. I used the Angelus stuff on my guitar, and it is really nice to work with.

This with some wood burning the numbers in would probably work pretty well
Oof, how did I forget wood burning?! That's a great tip indeed.
I also never thought about using leather dye, I'll look for it next time
Not sure if Aniline wood dyes are all that different but they also work really well!
You can't say that and not show us the result! What color did you use for your guitar?
I did a greenburst. I think that I used 3 different greens to get there but its been a few years now. I wish I could have gotten the poly flatter on it but its good enough for a first try.

The tutorial I followed was from BigDGuitars on youtube.
Damn, that looks great. Did you have to take it apart to apply the dyes?
Thanks! It was a new build so I did the finish work on it after doing a "dry" build first to make sure the fit was okay with the parts. Then I dyed it, sprayed poly, and assembled it again.
I'd suggest making one of them black with the rule: if this piece is pulled and put on top, the two rows above and below it cannot be pulled.
I don't know if this is already a rule in Stacko, since I haven't played it, but it's something
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That's a good one, we'll give it a try next time. I think I'll try the other block rule as "the next person has to use their non dominant hand to pull their next piece" and see how it goes.
Still open to suggestions everyone, keep them coming
