When you finally denazify, please do it properly. Otherwise they and their ideology will fester in your institutions like a cancer, waiting to return when the time is right.
Good point but what does it mean?
Any move against them, especially penalising them, will evoke a counter reaction. The ideology will linger on and fester.
How do you decide who to "weed out"? Does it come down to removing all Trump supporters? That will create more tensions..
They are murdering people in the streets with impunity. You are way beyond the "creating more tensions" stage.
At least weed them out in all public institutions. Not like it was done in post WW2 Germany, where they were pretty much all left in place.
The US doing lately the same after our civil war is a huge part of how we got into this mess.
