A few thousand well placed Luigi’s could save America.

could anyone explain these signs for me?

They seem to give contradictory info? Can I park for five minutes or an hour during the day?

I can! This is Seattle. The yellow sign only applies to the yellow curb. If the curb isn’t colored, or there isn’t a sign with an arrow, saying no parking beyond this, then the white and green sign applies.

if you’re ticketed make an appointment with a magistrate & your fine will likely be reduced or even entirely dismissed

I read this way too British of sentence to apply in Seattle but I see you’re right

Looks like they're blocking that driveway.

Don't know the laws there, but in Texas, white signs represent things regulated by laws and have legal repercussions while yellow signs are just warnings or notices.

  • Drive 45 passing a white sign that says 35: get a ticket
  • Drive 45 passing a yellow sign that says 35: probably trying to warn you about a curve, condition, wildlife, or intersection. Slow down if you're feeling cautious.
