notice how defense related stock go a bit down whenever there's peace talks that may even be of unrelated nations? and then they go up again afterwards. defense contracts are made long before actual peace and are usually not stopped during peace, because the nations must restock and be ready to defend against future attacks as well. and yet ppl or algos daytrade them.
the whole stock market is basically just betting on what investors coming after you will bet on next.
