A Palestinian children's football club in the occupied West Bank faces imminent demolition despite an international campaign to save it. Its supporters say it provides a rare sporting opportunity for young Palestinian players.

But Israel insists it's been built without the necessary permits.

In this deeply divided land so much is contested; from the identities and faiths of the people who live here, to every inch of the ground they stand on.

Recently, that has come to include one small patch of artificial turf laid down under the shadow of the giant concrete wall that isolates Israel from much of the occupied West Bank.

The cunts of Israel attacking children again ... which seems to be their favourite pastime.

No mention of how it's almost impossible to get the necessary permits. This article doesn't even have a pro-Israel slant so it's just weird how this piece of information isn't included.

I keep seeing Israeli war crimes and oppression being described as cartoonishly evil. Can we all just agree to drop the 'cartoonishly'? This isn't a cartoon, it's actual real life evil. They are not dropping anvils or pianos on roadrunners. They are bombing and sniping children and here they are erasing their culture, taking away their tiny opportunities to make a better life for themselves. In cartoons the kids always win. Israel is just plain evil.

FIFA really needs to get its act together and expel the apartheid state. Hundreds of foooballers killed by Israel, football stadiums destroyed and used as torture centers.
