I applaud the sentiment, but uhm… I don't think the comparison is helpful. Fighting external enemies is very different from fighting fascism from within. The "the state champions freedom" vs "the state is tyranny" kind of different.

The ruling stating that presidents have complete immunity from persecution for acts taken in the official capacity as president, in which the judges made it clear that could even include assassinating political rivals, did not pass during Trump's administration.
It passed during Biden's administration. The Supreme Court basically told him "you can assassinate Trump and nothing would happen to you." He didn't even pursue him for persecution.
Democrats are not just useless, they're complicit.

Fighting fascism is a whole lot easier when it decides to start a world War, every other instance they just continue on within their own borders.

The founding principles of the nation are might makes right and don't whine, there's no truth nor justice in the world, and the US has behaved exactly that way from their Anglo-Saxon conception by crusading into America annihilating the locals, then enjoying slavery, then destabilising nations around the world post WW2 power reshuffle, pillaging, murdering and raping their way across the land for geopolitical and financial advantages. In the little time it's been a thing, it's accumulated sins for thousands of years. Get real, man, if you know any moral, righteous, prosocial and selfless Americans (maybe yourself included!) they are so despite their culture, not because of it.
Not to mention that America inspired the Nazis, and after we "beat them", we hired them to run NASA and NATO...

the non-violent protests has been largely ineffective , it just shows that there is no resistance when they use violence. the last thing the people at top want, rich people is rioting.

If you want to replace one tyrant with another, the commies are good for that.
The equipment made them better equipped, not the ideology, though it does help because of it's accurate materialist understanding of history. The USSR had a massive industry that produced millions of bullets, artillery shells, and hundreds of tanks to fight the nazis. We don't have a nation like that now to fight the nazis, the nazis today are the dominant superpower and it will be a tough fight. I agree though idk what the point of that comment was.
