Now watch the Republican party turn to gun control legislation just like they did the last time.

The Black Panther Party started performing armed patrols in Oakland to protect citizens from the police, "cop watching" in the 1960s. Ronald Reagan passed the Mulford Act in 1967 and that started the push to limit guns in CA, supported by the NRA.
