I think they should have a separate grocery store for those doing pick up orders. The traffic created from pick up orders drovea me insane.

Nah, you just live in a society of morons.

May I suggest a cart licence.

No license....you get a fucken carry bag, get your shit together!

[–] brap@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Oh god yes. Get it away from my car. Why are you steering it with your elbows? Whos is this one abandoned diagonally in the middle of an aisle?

I think it's very neighborhood dependent.

The worst places are in rich neighborhoods where all the bored middle managers act like queens and kings of the grocery store.

We should also seggregate society by tiers, every 15 IQ points up and down.

That's skill baded match making!

Could we ban conversation between cart-holders? Two people shopping together, same cart same list, is fine. But anything beyond "Hi, nice to see you" between two carts clogs the aisles

Nonsense, shopping at Costco is riotously fun just like it is.

Also you must be able to read.

I do my grocery shopping at about 7AM on Sunday. I cruise through the aisles, slowing down to grab what I want. A full week's shopping done in under 30 minutes, including checkout. I'm sure it also helps that I choose not to live in a big city.

I suppose if I had an online following of any kind, I might shop at a time that gave me something to complain about.

Also separate airports and train stations without people blinded by holiday brain.
