Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. 4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Right, but baby steps and first things first: IMPEACH, REMOVE, PROSECUTE each and every last one of the motherfuckers!

Anyone who doesn't think he'd be happy with Iran levels of protester killing is naive

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

It's ironic that, according to the conservatives, you can protest in Iran, but if you protest here, that means you are a "terrorist".

Meaning they think you have more rights as an Iranian than you do as an American.

Land of the free! Free speech maximalism! etc.

[–] sdfric88@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 5 hours ago

I think he's actually eager to hit that level, actively working towards it, and sexually aroused by the thought of higher levels of civilian killing than even that lofty goal

Why are Minnesota’s local police supporting ICE? Other cities are doing things like investing ICE with crimes like they should. But MINN police seem to be full stormtroopers

[–] UnspecificGravity@piefed.social 33 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

Shocking that the guys that killed George Floyd are on the wrong side of this.

[–] Asmodeus_Krang 5 points 7 hours ago

It's funny that people think police are going to do anything but protect the ruling class. They ain't like us.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 16 points 8 hours ago

Y’all know he’s seriously demented, right.

Could someone please inform the corporate news sewers. They are unaware.

Where are the Epstein files?

[–] RestrictedAccount@lemmy.world 17 points 8 hours ago* (last edited 8 hours ago)

These over the top actions are distractions from the fact that he has not released the Epstein files as REQUIRED BY LAW.

We are close to the end of this.

Keep pushing for the files

[–] themoken@startrek.website 12 points 8 hours ago

I don't get why anyone thinks this will be consequential anymore. We already know what's in them, Trump's base does not care. The Supreme Court basically made Trump untouchable by the law...

I mean, I'd take some legal deus ex machina to get us out of this shit any day, but at what point are the Epstein files the distraction from the fact that Americans are being wantonly murdered by the state?

He questioned if the people of Minnesota “really want to live in a community in which there are thousands of already convicted murderers, drug dealers and addicts, rapists, violent released and escaped prisoners, dangerous people from foreign mental institutions and insane asylums, and other deadly criminals too dangerous to even mention.”

/facepalm

He is so fucking stupid.

Will someone please tell donnie dumbass what asylum means?

It doesn't mean they came from a mental institution. JFC, this is the stupidest fucking timeline.

[–] leftzero@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 6 hours ago

already convicted murderers, drug dealers and addicts, rapists, violent released and escaped prisoners, dangerous people from foreign mental institutions and insane asylums, and other deadly criminals too dangerous to even mention

It's all projection with these assholes.

[–] Soulphite@reddthat.com 58 points 10 hours ago

I don't want to live in a country where a 34 time convicted felon, known rapist, suspected pedophile, mentally challenged, dementia riddled senile old piece of shit is allowed to masquerade as president doing whatever the fuck he wants with zero repercussions...

[–] BrianTheeBiscuiteer@lemmy.world 14 points 10 hours ago

But I thought he hated blue states? Wouldn't it be a more effective punishment to let all the "illegals" destroy them?

[–] HeadfullofSoup@kbin.earth 9 points 10 hours ago

If he remove his fascist dogs there will be a lot less of those people in Minnesota since they all work for ice

[–] manxu@piefed.social 5 points 9 hours ago

I think you got it wrong. He was obviously talking about the ICE agents here!

[–] decapitae@sh.itjust.works 26 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

Not just stupid - disasterously dangerous and evil

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 10 points 10 hours ago

Fascist nation elects fascist president and gets fascist policies.

We've had this cancer in our system since the Reagan Era, churning through our guts and killing our best and brightest. Now all that over-policing we inflicted on the urban poor and the rural minorities is boiling over onto the suburban middle class.

Wish people would recognize Trump as the most pronounced symptoms of a terrible national illness and not some freak aberration we can fix in the next election cycle. Because we can't survive another dose of Joe Biden liberalism at the rate we're declining.

He needs a 5150.
