We've been on the brink of nuclear annihilation multiple times but always escaped fate because there were calm cool smart heads that intervened. Those heads are gone, it's now all removed narcissists.
This asshole is just casually blabbing about burning down the entire world, and there ain't shit we can do to stop or even change this.
The two times we evaded nuclear hellfire were in the 60s and 80s. And in both those cases it was the Soviets who kept their cool and realized that it was a technical error that gave a false positive.
I don't think anyone in either government is cool enough to do that today.
Removed narcissists?
Mostly, those calm cool smart heads were decidedly not the politicians.
Remember, Stephen Miller directly and Peter Thiel less directly are likely driving this. Mango is just their senile puppet/mouthpiece/fall guy. Not that it makes it any less serious.
It is worrying how unhinged Thiel is becoming, it does look like he is fishing with various ideas to start a cult for his own glory. Dude needs to just chill out for a bit.

Uhhh....the coverup worked. I'm 42, and this is the first I've ever heard that we nuked Greenland. I feel like that SHOULD be common knowledge, but I'm willing to bet if I ask 100 random people, 0 will think I'm telling the truth if I told them we've nuked Greenland before.
I mean, it’s not accurate to say we nuked them, as no nuclear detonation occurred. We did contaminate the area with radiation and likely harmed the Danish workers assisting in the cleanup.

I emailed my senators and my rep to tell them to do fucking SOMETHING about this sabre rattling. Write up some fucking legislation saying that the US cannot invade NATO nations, at the fucking minimum.
