Something I did some time ago, but a bright image for dank winter days :)

1) Be nice and; have fun
Doxxing, trolling, sealioning, racism, and toxicity are not welcomed in AskLemmy. Remember what your mother said: if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. In addition, the site-wide Lemmy.world terms of service also apply here. Please familiarize yourself with them

This is sort of like Jeopardy. Please phrase all post titles in the form of a proper question ending with ?

4) NSFW is okay, within reason

5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions.

Adorable!
What's everyone using to draw? I shouldn't be suprised that Lemmy users are overwhelming choosing digital art. Personally, I used the Sketchbook app with a pressure sensitive stylus.
I use Krita, and a Wacom Intuos tablet. (Currently on Windows. ...I have confirmed both 100% work on Linux tho.)
It, uh, genuinely didn't occur to me that I could draw with my hands physically
I used the fossify paint app on my phone.
Not a new picture, in fact, a very old doodle, but i like threads like this because fuck AI
Ignore the fact that my fish look like peens, im very aware

Oooooooo... nice doodle!
Thank you! I wish I doodled more nowadays

I dont really know how to draw beautiful pictures, or pianos for that matter
A piano outdoors is a beautiful thing & I like this image for it's simplicity - it makes you stop a moment :)
Someone once told me “if you want to be good at art, try drawing things upside down”.
Here is an upside down apple that I flipped 180…

Here's one from a couple days ago.

Here's something I drew last week.

I never got around to really properly starting a game project I was making 9 years ago (gee, time flies) called The Great Adventure. In it you'd explore a tropical island! In the quit screen there was a message "the turtles bid you goodbye!"
Now the game was just a text-based thing written in Turbo Pascal for DOS, but this illustration here is what I had in mind.
Wow, I haven't thought about Turbo Pascal or Borland in such a long time! Thanks for triggering some happy memories. I bid the turtle goodbye back!
That sounds like a really cute game. Love the turtle too!
Munch's The Scream with emacs artist-mode

Ok I too drew a picture

Have a hamster in a lemon helmet

Drawn using X.
This comment section has so much amazing drawings, man.
I got a much better response than anticipated. I love it! Ive been trying to make an effort to contribute to Lemmy instead of just lurking. I also started making some small contributions to Lemmy and Lemmy.world.
I love it here, thanks for your participation everyone!
