Trump is laying siege on America like Rodrigo Borgia stomping around midaeval Italy.
The longer this goes the more we see just how much abuse the average US citizen will take without going further than peacefully protesting.
The Republicans want violence in the streets so they can implement full martial law, particularly in blue states.
They're gonna have to do it on their own initiative then. When it comes to abuse from authorities, Americans are like Gandhi. I doubt there'll be any pushback from that move anyway.

This administration keeps pushing and pushing hoping to foment a rebellion so they can play the strong man and start randomly shooting people. Well I mean randomly shoot MORE people since they’ve apparently already started.

That stupid "doge" thing of killing USAID is actively killing people, including children, in other countries right now. Last I looked, it reached into six digits already according to estimates.
But I'm talking about them starving children here in order to send a tingle up the leg of the conservatives (and of course, placate Taco's delicate ego). Didn't think even conservatives would be this bad about white children, many of which are most likely xtian, in America.

In terms of raw numbers there are more White people in poverty in the US, but proportional to population size more Blacks are in poverty, due to structural racism.
Those white ppl are poors. So they dont count to them
When people start missing meals, that's when they get angry enough to rise up, which gives the government another excuse to crack down.
The Trump administration doesn't care about white people. Evidence: the everything they have done and continue to do. But they pretend to, so white racists will vote for them...

It doesn't even make sense in context at all. It's so painfully obviously a move intended to harm out of sheer vindictiveness. Food stamps aren't even connected to the issue they are claiming fraud over. They are raging about people using funds for day cares that don't serve children... so the response is to take food out of children's mouths? It's so fucking stupid and so transparently intentionally evil.
I mean, that's entirely how it makes sense.
Trump is a literally demented mad man, acting out of vindictive spite.

Him, and his supporters, want people to suffer and die.

That's what these invasions are about and it's what starving children is about. The thin-skinned little diaper boy is butthurt that they didn't support him in enough numbers, so it's about punishing them. Even if it's children that weren't even born by November 2024.

I think they blocked them from withholding child care funds so MAGA is trying food stamps.
Shouldnt the people of Minnesota sue Nick Shirley directly for the loss of any funds based on their bogus information. The damages may appear direct by saying you cut $200 of food to this person, but the effects of cutting that $200 could cause thousands in damages to their lives. Thus suing them for multiple times the total amount of funds cut should be completely reasonable.
People making unfound claims that don't come out and immediately say they were bullshit when policies are made around the should be held 100% liable. Then every member involved in enacting that policy once found rediculous should be impeached investigated to be personally held liable for the same amounts, owed to the citizens hurt.
Would that make them bankrupt for the rest of their life, yes. But their actions caused worse
I'd love it if massive class action suits could completely destroy these asshole ~~propagandists~~, oops, I mean, "influencers" 🙄 and make them go find an honest living.
Even better: finding a way to imprison those involved in the more egregious cases of disinformation and misinformation. I'd love to see lil' Alex Jones behind bars. Same with this Nick Shirley.

It does seem like we need to figure that out. We have lost the distinction that you have free speech, but you’re not free of the consequences of your speech.
We have a fundamental change with the internet, where people’s words can have a much larger impact on the world, while at the same time you’re getting more distance from those impacts, more insulation from the consequences.
In the olden days you could say “the sky is falling” all you want but people will think you’re weird and you’ll be ostracized. You face consequences for your words. Similarly you could scream. “FIRE” in a crowded theater subject to arrest for the panic you cause, for endangering people’s lives. You face the consequences of your words.
Now whatever you say on the internet has a broad enough reach that there will always be susceptible listeners, those who believe or who can be easily convinced. Now with sensationalistic and outrage culture, media, and politics, there will always be someone to “ride the wave” for their own benefit. But when there are consequences, it’s much easier to step away saying “wasn’t my fault”.
We as a society desperately need to reconnect those consequences back to those whose words caused them and those who “rode the wave” to profit their own needs
Also, enemies like Russia can find and fund these motherfuckers and there is no way to punish all these little traitors for selling out their country while they cash in.
Benny Johnson, for example. That little fucker should be rotting in prison.
