Finally an 8bitdo controller with a headphone jack! I love their controllers but recently have been doing a lot of couch gaming, and joining voice chat was the last conundrum I had with getting away from my desk. ๐

The significance here is that it is a good controller that has a wireless mode that will work with Xbox. Previously you could have a nice 3rd party controller like this, but it would have to be wired to work on the Xbox. The official M$lop ones were the only wireless ones that would work. This looks like a good option.
Sadly it looks like you have to use their dongle plugged into the console to use it wirelessly. I was hoping it would be the standard the xbox controllers use so I could reuse my existing dongles.
It is at least bluetooth so if I leave the dongle behind I can still use it with my laptop. But I'll wait for reviews before I buy. This looks exactly what I wanted out of an elite series 3 controller.
