Jonathan Ross murdered Renee Nicole Good. Spread the word.

[–] IntrovertTurtle@lemmy.zip 92 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I've been hoping this info would come out. I posted in another thread about how he should live the rest of his life being hated and shunned by everyone around him.

You know, since the Fourth Reich likely won't prosecute him.

[–] Makeitstop@lemmy.world 46 points 6 days ago

There is no statute of limitations on murder.

The feds will protect him, but that's only guaranteed for as long as the current regime is in power. Even if the next administration (or the one after that, or the one after that, etc) isn't inclined to make a federal case out of it, they could easily decide to just not obstruct justice and cooperate, handing everything over to the state.

“That very ICE officer nearly had his life ended … six months ago,” Vance said, referring to a car-dragging incident with the agent.

“You think maybe he’s a little bit sensitive about somebody ramming him?”

Then maybe he shouldn't be back out in the fucking field yet.

That very ICE officer nearly had his life ended … six months ago

Too bad it was nearly, or Renee would probably be alive.

[–] axexrx@lemmy.world 78 points 6 days ago

Maybe hes too incompetent to be i the field, considering hes put himself in harms way twice now in the same way.

[–] WindyRebel@lemmy.world 49 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (1 children)

Then maybe he shouldn't be back out in the fucking field yet.

Not to mention maybe don’t approach the front of a vehicle that was already in the process of trying to move before you stood in front of it?

[–] NotMyOldRedditName@lemmy.world 11 points 6 days ago (3 children)

How else do you get to shoot people?

Step 1: find moving car

Step 2: Jump in front or back of it depending on its direction.

Step 3: shoot when they don't stop.

Step 4: my life was in danger I had to shoot them!

[–] AA5B@lemmy.world 12 points 5 days ago (1 children)

It wasn’t just shooting. He calmly reached into the open window, put his gun up to her head, and murdered her. Then just as calmly walked away. The scariest part was just how matter of fact he was about murder for no justifiable reason

Lethal force is not justified by being a little bitch.

[–] jasoman@lemmy.world 33 points 6 days ago (2 children)

He just did what they wanted him to do. This was all planned.

[–] ChunkMcHorkle@lemmy.world 27 points 6 days ago

Agreed. Though I would add, HE really wanted to do it himself, of his own sociopathy and deep insecurities, or he would have taken the much easier route and ignored them, letting someone else have the shot. He had to break inertia to unholster his gun.

You're right, his superiors all the way up the chain absolutely wanted him to do it: they are desperate to the point of insane about avoiding midterms now.

But make no mistake. HE really wanted to do it, and do it under the cover of law. HE wanted to shoot an unarmed person who presented no threat and to know he got away with it, plus get whatever bonus people get for doing their dirty work.

Maybe the first instance was his fault too and he should have been fired not sent back out for duty

[–] Zink@programming.dev 13 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

“You think maybe he’s a little bit sensitive about somebody ramming him?”

Fuck his feelings.

source: all of his supporters.

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 5 days ago

Awwww was baby feeling sensitive?

Pretty rich coming from these "warrior" tough guy assholes

[–] anon_8675309@lemmy.world 5 points 5 days ago

He walked around the vehicle and positioned himself to simultaneously be in “danger” of getting hit as well as being able to get out of the way and kill the driver.

Apparently the agent videoed it as well and you can see that as she’s moving the car back and then forward, her focus was on the guy trying to open the car door until the last second. There was zero intent to run over the agent.

You would have thought it would teach him not to use his own body to try to stop someone in a car driving away.

[–] KillerTofu@lemmy.world 74 points 6 days ago

It’s how he can get justification for his itchy trigger finger though.

[–] 0ops@piefed.zip 14 points 6 days ago

Nah, the fourth bullet was exactly enough to redirect the car safely around him. Physics 101. A measured response

Vance that says that the agent is sensitive about being rammed, like it would justify any bit of this. "Of course the rabid dog bit them to death, it's rabid!"

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 87 points 6 days ago (1 children)

He shouldn't be on the job if he's mentally incapable of telling if someone is fleeing or being aggressive.

[–] sns@lemmy.dbzer0.com 31 points 6 days ago

This isn't a job it's a criminal organization.

[–] KoboldCoterie@pawb.social 67 points 6 days ago (5 children)

I'm sensitive about feeling threatened by federal agents, does that mean I can shoot them?

[–] sausager@lemmy.world 28 points 6 days ago

When you flee, don't turn the wheels away from the agent. It could save your life

There’s protocol for how we handle rabid animals 🤔

So he’s a fucking dumbass who doesn’t know not to be near a moving vehicle. There’s a reason cops stay like an arms length away during a traffic stop and ask you to turn off the car.

IF the report of the last incident is to be believed (I don’t):

  • He escalated the earlier incident by breaking the dudes window and reaching in.
  • He either got caught on the glass he himself broke, or he kept holding on as the car started moving.
  • He knows how to not use lethal force (he tased the last victim)

If he’s “sensitive” about getting dragged he shouldn’t be out in the field. Nor should he be approaching vehicles.

Obligatory fuck JD Vance.

[–] Wilco@lemmy.zip 14 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (3 children)

I hear your "fuck JD Vance" and would add "may Trump get nut cancer"

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed Thursday that the agent who killed Good was the same officer dragged by a suspect in Bloomington last June. Although Ross was not named in the 13-page indictment of the driver, he is identified in several court records filed in the case, including photo exhibits from the hospital. He is also listed by name as a witness.

Nice sleuthing.

A law enforcement source, who is not authorized to speak publicly, confirmed that Ross is the shooter.

LEO doing something useful!

[–] mechoman444@lemmy.world 20 points 5 days ago

He is a supposed "law enforcement officer" he assumes a risk. That doesn't mean you get to shoot people.

I've seen justifiable shootings by police. This isn't it.

[–] UnspecificGravity@piefed.social 41 points 6 days ago

So he has an established pattern of attacking drivers in this same manner. Sounds like premeditation to me.

[–] shittydwarf@piefed.social 36 points 6 days ago
[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 32 points 6 days ago

So because he got 20 stitches after smashing in a car window attacking another driver he’s allowed to shoot people in the head.

Also, Couchfucker got to smear the shit on this story while announcing a new “special” AG office to investigate fraud . . . starting in Minnesota. Purely coincidentally.

When asked to respond to Tim Walz’s comments he said “I don’t care what [he] thinks”.

[–] MehBlah@lemmy.world 27 points 6 days ago (8 children)

Fuck Jonathan Ross. May he rot alive.

So, is the Star Tribune stating that since he was dragged along previously, he panicked and fired this time? Or that he reported a while back being dragged along, so that charge might be bullshit too?

[–] AnchoriteMagus@lemmy.world 31 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Well, we don't know exactly, but the court documents state that he was dragged after smashing the driver's window, reaching in, and trying to open the door from the inside. The driver panicked (rightfully) and tried to drive away.

[–] atzanteol@sh.itjust.works 18 points 6 days ago (1 children)

That driver seems to be an asshole (wanted for sexual assault). But putting your arm into an operational car with somebody behind the wheel who does not want to surrender sounds like the stupidest idea in the world.

[–] AnchoriteMagus@lemmy.world 16 points 6 days ago

It absolutely does, just like putting an agent who's still "sensitive' about vehicle stops on an operation where he's stopping vehicles.

Almost like the DHS and ICE are run by deeply unqualified people with none of the requisite training.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 18 points 6 days ago

No, they’re reporting that’s how they found his name.

The DHS put it out there in the first place so they could say it’s okay he shot a civilian at point blank range.

Then this scum sucking, low life worm named Jonathan Ross should know the difference between being dragged and standing 2 to 3 feet away from a car by now. I hope he his is hounded ceaselessly to his grave and then ghosts take it from there for eternity.

[–] BigMacHole@sopuli.xyz 22 points 6 days ago

OBVIOUSLY he Had the RIGHT to Murder a Mother because he had a History of being Dragged once! And OBVIOUSLY the Mother had NO RIGHT to even TRY to Resist ICE even though ICE has a History of Murdering People!

[–] null@piefed.nullspace.lol 17 points 6 days ago (7 children)

ICE protestors must start open carrying anywhere that's possible.
