Seriously. The “purity test” rhetoric is so fucking exhausting. I am not being too fucking picky because I don’t support candidates that do genocides. I am not being too picky for not supporting candidates that literally support murdering children. If you’re one of these people who believe that I am, go fuck yourself. Hard. Once upon a time, there were these two generals, Chen Sheng and Wu Guang.
The emperor asked them to round up some peasants and bring them over some marshlands to a rendezvous. But when they finished rounding up the peasants, sudden rains turned the marsh into a swamp. There was no way they could get there in time.
Chen Sheng said "Looks like we're gonna be late for this job."
Wu Guang said "Looks like it."
Chen Sheng said "what's the penalty for being late to a government job?"
Wu Guang said "Beheading."
Chen Sheng said "Right. And, uh, what's the penalty for starting a peasant rebellion?"
Wu Guang said "Also beheading."
