Checked illustrations, shed a tear, bought one to read to my daughter.

If you and your daughter like the book, there's also an equally adorable and wholesome animated series from 2012/2013 based on the book called "Guess How Much I Love You: The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare".

I believe it is still currently available on the kids section of the Peacock app. Or there's also the official Guess How Much I Love You YouTube channel 😊

I read this to my kids and accidentally said "Little brown nut hare." a few times.
