I prefer LibreOffice - if you're still using Windows 10 with Linux, switch to LibreOffice!
Using any bloatsoft product is a joke at this point, unless your job or school forces you to do so

Boy, that company should probably fire the CEO, what with him forcing it to commit suicide.
For those required to use Ai in their job would this count then?
This may be the strategy. 90% of all business users use copilot daily (after we renamed their coffeemachine and the kitchen sink to copilot)
Microsoft has like 15 words they just keep rearranging for all their products, kinda like what taco bell did for "mexican" food.

The sad part is that i still tried to first rationalize this and was about to check if office.com really belongs to microsoft...
Anyway, i jumped ship for good last year. Its probably really time to delete that windows 10 partition i used a whole 2 hours the last 6 months.

AI doesn't have much to like on its face, but the terrible sonsabitches trying to ram it forcibly down everybody's throats - chief of which Microsoft, followed closely by OpenAI - are really doing their damnedest to make it properly hateworthy.
Microsoft makes me hate AI the same way Trump makes me hate red baseball caps: they're not really that terrible in and of themselves, it's who wears them.
Between this and what they've done to Windows they're proving daily that you can shit exactly where you eat when you're a tech monopoly.
You cannot make this shit up.

I have had open office installed on my computer since 2008. While back then word wasn't complete shit I was still using it for many years. But now there is nothing Libre office has that word doesn't so fuck MS office.
