Maving the big traffic problem to a large number of small traffic problems. Sounds like a 'fix' to me.
Until your population increases by 50% and you have to do it all again.
I made an extensive bike path network though my city. It was amazing! The. The bike path itself would have traffic problems
Feels good! The city I'm working on has an intersection that becomes a mess at rush hour. It's about to get removed because I can't seem to fix it!
Make sure the traffic doesn't spill into the residential areas, then they will affect the efficiency of the fire and ambulance services
