I'm on the Piefed instance Feddit.online and I've been seeing unblurred NSFW redtube clips like this one autoplay in the feed lately (feddit.online)

To clarify these posts are presumably not doing anything wrong, the problem is that they're not getting blurred in the all feed.

FYI feddit.online has upgraded to 1.4.1, which includes a fix for this.

Yeah, I think I see the issue in the jinja template. PieFed handles some video hosting sites a bit specially to make the compatibility a bit nicer, but the blur setting was not being passed on to those special cases. I think this is a pretty simple fix.

In the meantime, if you switch to either of the compact view settings, then the videos won't be loaded in the feed.

Why are you people in here trolling? A developer already confirmed that this is a flaw with how piefed displays some videoplayers yesterday.

That link is hidden by a faux age-verification pop-over that I cannot bypass. You're the one trolling if you're so insulted by being asked the name of the community.

Forget pie-fed for a moment, I almost never check !all on any instance, so mine could actually have the same issue and I would likely never know.

If you would have just answered my question, I could have joined OR BLOCKED that community, as you can, but you're so focused on your own bull-shit that others having reasons for their questions is beyond your imagining.

Exactly, it is your skill issue. If you put the name of the community @ the name of the instance with an ! in front of it you do not have to navigate anywhere. You could even do https://instance_name/c/community_name

I never asked for a direct link to the post - you already provided two of those. Learn how to read.

Even were you to provide a link specific to my instance, it would just be appending http://discuss.tchncs.de/c/ to the begining of the instance-agnostic version. Pointless compared to what a true moron could have figured-out I was actually asking for, given a moment to think about it.

I editted my initial comment to make it more clear, btw, but no, I guess now I have no choice but to demand an Inbox full of hands on Dicks. Still better than interacting with you.

To be fair, I was meaning the communities that we causing said issue. Never sounded to me like there was an "afflicted" community. They are using the ALL feed, and encountering the issue there.

It needs fixed for everyone of-course, but I'm well into enjoying watching this idiot tie themselves in knots in order to play victim because they won't admit that blocking certain communities would fix it for them, unless they want to see dicks, just blurred at-first. I wouldn't judge that if they weren't acting all morally-outraged.

A PieFed admin can disable not-logged-in users from viewing NSFW content. IIRC, this was added after the recent UK laws about NSFW content.

Are your settings tweaked to hide NSFW? (I can't remember if that's a default setting or not)

Here are my complete settings so that you can see for yourself that Nudes should be blurred. You can also see that there is no setting about Autoplaying videos. I can also confirm, on my honor, that the blur effect is functioning for everything except the redtube videos I've come across, do you need proof of that as well?

My apologies that the Header managed to jump in front of some things, you don't get to see the -1000000000 comment score threshhold I set, sadly.
