Nah. I mean, we can be. We do all sorts of bad shit because we're dumb and greedy–but it takes more than that to do a war, a modern industrialized war.
It takes patterns habits life-ways of obedience. It takes suborning ones own conscience and understanding as a reliable thing. It takes the use of violence and terror as method of coordination against ones interests and desires. It takes identifying with that violence, and identifying others with theirs. It takes a state.
And we need to not have those anymore. We have too much technology too much ability to destroy each other and ourselves to keep fucking around like this. We are too smart to keep being this fucking stupid.

But yes, the borders, and stupid hate towards differences needs to go.
