I'm more inclined to think he made the right decision for the wrong reason. Reducing federal power, even if it was for a good reason, feels like something he would automatically be against.

It seems like he's continuing to spin this as the PMs fault.

To paraphrase a quote from the article: "The PM is creating devisions in the country, so it's therefore his fault the Premier of Alberta is trying to decide Canadians."

And a lot of his base is going to eat that up like candy. Facts don't matter when you have a good soundbite.
