Not quite the same, but in the UK the last time the UK Labour Party was in government in 2010, Liam Byrne, the chief secretary to the Treasury under Gordon Brown, left a note for his successor, which simply said: ‘Dear chief secretary, I’m afraid to tell you there’s no money left.’ 🙄 we're still broker. Most countries have a record or a area of photos of past leaders and this is a purely Trump thing, Trump made the walk of fame, it never existed before Trump.
