Isn't that communism or authoritarian extreme socialism? Why do people get so confused over this. All developed nations are socialist to some extent, some more than others. Is there a different definition in the US?

Mmmhm. Capitalism will always and inevitably supersede democracy as a matter of its own ruleset.
Norway can be all high and mighty about their superior management of the limitations on capitalism, but it won't last. The USA is the cancer, Europe is already struck with its metastases, and the European way of life and its ideals will be swallowed like a sardine by barracudas.
USA is gone. We are next up on the chopping block, and you all know it.
