For those of you feeling reactionary about the US seizing the Skipper after leaving port in Venezuela, keep in mind that Russia traffics oil via Iran, and Iran traffics oil via Venezuela.

Because oil export has been one of Russia's largest sources of income with all of the sanctions in place, there is a very real possibility that that ship has been financially supporting Russia's war against Ukraine.

Everything else the united states' government has done has been a solid service to Russia. Their behaviour goed way beyond incompetence.
