Damn, and it isn't even close to worst
The Washington ones are funny because they’re all named after George Washington because “he traveled near that location” but half of them are like “nah he really didn’t do that”
Just have to get people to call Washington, D.C. just "DC". My high school went to a band festival in Indianapolis and when people asked where we were from (especially the east side schools) we'd have to clarify that we're from the state of Washington and not DC.
There's also the added bonus that WA is also Western Australia, so I always have to double-check whenever it's mention in headlines

We should have original names like Cologne, the city yhe residents just forgot to name.
Thats rooky numbers compared to the number of Villeneuve in France.
Well, at least most of those have an original suffix to give them identity.
