Be cool to each other. We'll welcome most occult themes, it's okay if you stray from witchcraft a bit.

No advertising. No trolling. No hate. Violaters will be removed unceremoniously.

We love art credits when possible.

Yeah I've seen way too many witches just be in flat out denial over scientific facts for that to be true.

I feel like some people take occult stuff and try to say that it's backed by science to try to make it feel valid. Just say you like burning herbs it makes you feel good and magical, don't try to say that it's backed by some study that says burning something kills germs or whatever.

Definitely older and modern witches, though. Not that a girl can’t have hobbies but people burned for using herbs to help heal when men were still talking about “humours” and shit and people acting like you can curse someone’s bloodline with some crystals are two different things

What's a "science bye"?

Science is just a bunch of models crafted by a society.

And there are other ways to do things.

Science is validated models crafted by society. Skepticism is an inherent aspect of science, which implies it knows there are always deeper levels of understanding available.

Yeah, validation is part of the craft.

"It" doesn't know that there are deeper etc. it's a craft. It has no brain.

It is one craft. There are others (for example, whittling). Let's not aggrandize it.

(EDIT. unified nomenclature)
