Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! The Olympic Committee is shoveling money into the trunks of their cars while the world is watching FIFA.
Oh yes, bribery has clearly been disproven now. It was very convincing.
So FIFA got rid of the bribery charge from this administration by bribing this administration with a pointless award. Cool, cool.
The charge was 'You didn't bribe me' and obviously now that they have, the charge has been dropped.
That's what's so great about bribery, if there's any problem you just bribe some more.
Sorry poors, it's just for rich people.

Saw him live delivering his "fuck Tiger Woods" and "fuck Lance Armstrong" set a long time ago. It should be noted how prescient this was because neither of those celebrities had their fall from grace yet. He was ranting against the very idea of celebrity worship and being told who to admire.
Some people in the audience left after that and he responded by saying it was going to get a lot fucking worse so it's good that you're leaving.
Dude was a fucking legend, and I'm still happy that I saw him before he died. He ruled that room, and I've been to other comedy shows, but none in my experience captivated the crowd and spoke as much truth as he did.
I wish I'd had a chance to see him live. He truly changed my life and helped shape my worldview at an early age.

They aren't even trying to hide the corruption at this point.
Why bother hiding it? It's not like Americans are doing anything about it.
If this goes much farther, in a few months they might spend a weekend waving signs around!
Let's be fair, it's very difficult to organise this type of thing. It's not as if we are living in an age of instant communication and information...
It's going to get much worse.
Consider, now that a number of high profile individuals and corporations have paid Trump off - those same people are going to be hawkish about others paying that price, since they'll feel it isn't fair they 'had' to but others don't.
Now it's not just a deal under the table, the players want to see the bribe happening, to ensure "fairness".
We're in for a hell of a ride.
When have they ever tried to hide it?

- They stop giving these out altogether because it's a tradition they never expected to have to do more than once
- They give it to someone else in the hopes of furthering whatever agenda they have next year
- They just keep giving it to Trump
You got to hand it to Infantino. I thought that going lower then the "I feel a migrant worker" speech was impossible, but the cut off hands dooming earth award for Trump might just do it.
FIFA, IOC, and probably most of the sports associations are corrupt as fuck, especially with the ME countries sportswashing them too.

This administrations brand is to sell government work (or non work) for personal favours and there literally accepting “exposure” as payment to signal how normalised they made it.
If you are a big enough name they don’t care how petty the bribe is. As long as it shows the world that they are open for this kind off business.
Every bribe, no matter how small is pure profit if you never owned what you’re selling.

These prosecutions are not consistent with the current prosecutorial priorities of the United States, which direct the Department of Justice’s resources into Making America Safe Again.
So charges are dropped not because he seems innocent, but because of political direction of justice now which must be focused on deporting innocent immigrants and building Reich 4.0
