It’s been answered many times already, but the most common reasons are parasocial relationships with specific creators, wanting custom or niche content that is otherwise difficult to find, or to support independent creators who want agency over their content instead of giving studios control of it.
General Memes & Private Chuckle
Welcome to General Memes
Memes for the masses, chuckles for the chosen.
Rule 1: Be Civil, Not Cruel
We’re here for laughs, not fights.
- No harassment, dogpiling, or brigading
- No bigotry (transphobia, racism, sexism, etc.)
- Keep it light — argue in the comments, not with insults
Rule 2: No Forbidden Formats
Not every image deserves immortality on the memmlefield. That means:
- No spam or scams
- No porn or sexually explicit content
- No illegal content (seriously, don’t ruin the fun)
- NSFW memes must be properly tagged
If you see a post that breaks the rules, report it so the mods can take care of it.
Otherwise consider this your call to duty. Get posting or laughing. Up to you
I'm not going to pay for porn, but there is a hell of a lot less new amatuer kink stuff now that everyone is trying to make money off of it rather than just posting it for the sake of exhibitionism.
It's kind of surreal looking for specific types of stuff and finding new content from actual studios, as poorly cut down ads for some onlyfans profile, or just the same amatuer stuff from like a fucking decade ago.
Doesn't help that a lot of the more reputable porn streaming sites have closed down normal user uploads. I entirely understand why it was needed, but the extra hurdle definitely makes things slant towards people ivested enough to try and make money from their content.

All porn is free for a multitude of people, should never pay for porn if people are able to get around the paywall, save up for brothel instead.
