Really superior would be a monospace font.

[…] he said the 2023 shift to the sans serif Calibri font emerged from misguided diversity, equity and inclusion policies pursued by his predecessor, Antony Blinken. […] ^[1.2]^ “Although switching to Calibri was not among the department’s most illegal, immoral, radical or wasteful instances of DEI it was nonetheless cosmetic” […] ^[1.1]^.

Reads, to me, as if it were a quote straight out of The Onion.

The fuck does this administration know about dignity

[–] trolololol@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

It's projection and grift. Once you see it like this everything makes sense.

Well, that's sure to give America the shot in the arm it needs to become great again!

Kinda surprised they didn’t pick Comic Sans.

This is ridiculous... Trebuchet is the superior font.

[–] Bahnd@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

Only in the trebuch region of France, everything else is just sparkling typeface.

[–] rimu@piefed.social 11 points 1 day ago

Seems like they are running low on ideas.

[–] Greyghoster@aussie.zone 6 points 1 day ago

Short of anything else to say, they have to sweat the big issues.

Is there a Trickle Down font?

[–] chemical_cutthroat@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I mean, I kinda think Serif fonts are superior, so I'm on board, but I don't like it.

"The dumbest person you know just made a great point" meme energy.

[–] refalo@programming.dev 5 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

And yet the previous secretary was making font nerd jokes on NPR when he changed it last time.
