I'm going to be honest, that teachea sounds like those people saying DON'T in posts when they actually are saying to do it.

Twenty bucks on that teacher not being straight.

I read it as deeply closeted, personally. “Once they get their hooks in you, you’ll never want to leave Cheryl and her sun dresses, pecan pies, long morning conversations over coffee, warm nights under the covers where you explore every tender inch of one another. Beware the pussy, it’s an inviting, barbed trap.”

She's totally straight, its just not real to be in live with another woman who loves and understands you and you're wild about sexually who you feel a deep sense of belonging and comfort about.

Only real relationships like God wants are the hard work kind with a man you sorta tolerate and can kind of have sex with enough to have a kid if you just lay back and think of, um, nothing in particular. See it's the never really connecting emotionally or being aroused that makes it sacred.

Clearly you just don't understand heterosexuality.

Yes!

"God looks down approvingly on low quality sex." is a good summary of what I was taught.

It's sort of obviously not true.

If God exists, and had any interest in sex, there's plenty of evidence that God is therefore into deeply weird sex stuff, having spent an exceptional amount of time creating all of it, and wiring most lifeforms to compulsively engage in it...

I find it surreal that any rational person who devoutly believes in a creator doesn't fly various LGBT+ flags in faithful solidarity.

According to school policy, I am required to tell you that lesbian relationships are bad wink wink.

[–] leya@mander.xyz 5 points 1 week ago

That's exactly what this sounds like.

I wonder how true this story is, because if yes, that teacher lacked any self awareness.

But hey, it was a religious school, so...

Repression results in projection. It's why you keep catching anti-gay government officials sucking strangers off in public restrooms.

Not every homophone us gay, but all the loudest ones are.

Edit: keeping it.

[–] slickgoat@lemmy.world 16 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Not being anti-gay but the data plainly tells us that FF relationships break down faster than MF relationships.

The longest lasting marriages are MM.

Why is this? I have no idea as I've never studied the phenomena, what's more I'm not qualified to do so, but it means something.

women read into things way more than men do. that's why.

all my relationships with women ended because she created this weird fiction in her head about me/us that had very little basis in reality, and trying to point that out just made them fly into a rage rather than admit that maybe they were possibly wrong. i remember one time my girlfriend was complaining her coat wasn't warm enough, so i got her a new warmer coat. she took this as me trying to control her life and 'shut her up'. she wore the coat but like resented me for making her life easier? it was utterly bizarre. i had this issue with other girlfriends too... they saw me doing nice things for them as some sort of sinister act to buy her flowers, make dinner, or take her to the airport.

when i give men gifts they say 'thanks'. women i give women gifts they want to know 'what it means' or think it's some sort of conspiracy.

How about FM relationships, though?

[–] RickyRigatoni@retrolemmy.com 10 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Usually breaks down after 30 or 40 miles.

[–] ellieficent@reddthat.com 7 points 1 week ago

AM lasts longer but the quality just isn't the same.

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago

Wait, what? I thought the catholic church mandates lifelong relationships? Did somebody not get the memo?

[–] southsamurai@sh.itjust.works 10 points 1 week ago

Damn, I need to find a lesbian to be in a relationship with

[–] bizarroland@lemmy.world 8 points 1 week ago

Things like this make me wish I could be in a lesbian relationship.

[–] Lushed_Lungfish@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 week ago

Well given the net amount of misery exported by religion this scans.
