I hate this shit so much, especially because I've seen "cancel culture" whined about on Hexbear too many times.
Are they actually canceled to begin with, or is even a slight treat delay what the whiners are upset about? Maybe such predators should be canceled a lot harder than what typically happens, treats be damned.
We have a serious problem with our celebrities all being scumbags.
Hero culture, for the most part, is reactionary. Even moreso when the "hero" is just some rich asshole pretending to be a different asshole on a screen, which is supposed to exempt him from scrutiny for crimes.
cancel culture is only a thing when its aimed at working class and marginalized people, like school librarians in florida who are anything but straight white and say that the colonists made friends with the natives
