I've been looking for those for months!
Before lasik, form me it was either "Where are my glasses?" when they are on my head, or "I have glasses on my head!?" after it has been there but I put them back on my nose but the feeling of them staying on my head persisted.
I thought this was c/weedtime 😆
Then you'd be sitting, and it would drop out of your lap when you stand up.
That's how I lost my steamroller. May she RIP.

For me it’s usually looking for where I left my phone (it’s in my pocket)
Or it's the thing that I'm already looking at, in my hand, but I need it for a separate function so my brain defaults to treating it like a separate object
Today I tried to bring the garbage bag into the market instead of the garbage... designated place(no idea how it is called in English): the bag was rather light, and I had many thoughts to think so I realized that I carry the garbage only somewhere midway to the market.

It's the picnic episode, when they found out they were pregnant.
Mines always in my pocket. The pocket that I checked 5 times. It only appears when I started asking the group "did one of you take my lighter"
It seems like he injected the lighter into his forehead.
I think saying "Why is it that whatever it is i was looking for was in the lat place i searched for?" should be a punchable offense.
It's a sentence I don't say often (I SWEAR), but...Jeff Foxworthy does a bit about that.
I was once on a video call with my sister, walking around the house and getting more and more frustrated as I did so. Eventually she asked me what I was looking for.
"I CAN'T FIND MY GODDAMN PHONE!"
She burst out laughing.
