To my knowledge it will come back from time to time (like once a year or so?), but it shouldn't take multiple tries to close it (but I had the same issue ๐ ).

Isn't that something the admins can just disable? It needs to be disabled every time the Lemmy version is updated, but so what? It's not a huge amount of work to do so!
