Do people actually struggle to put on a fitted sheet? Find one of the seams on the underside. Hold that, find two more. Determine the long side. Line up the seams to the corners of the mattress. Sheet goes right on.

If your headboard is big/fluffy enough so that it contacts the mattress it's guaranteed to be a pain in the ass imo. Also a pain if you have a mattress protector or some other layer of different texture.
Bend the mattress up, hook it on, do the same on the other side and then kinda tuck it all back down to stop it pulling up again.
Yeah but tucking it all back down means it's not gonna be perfect and that annoys me greatly
It's more holding the sheet in place while you tuck in the mattress than anything. Perfection should be preserved.
Fitted sheets are an abomination. They don't fit and they don't even fold nicely.
Just buy a massive flat sheet and tuck that shit under. Egyptian cotton preferably.

I experienced that fitted sheet torment yesterday. Would've rather been getting railed.
Then you refuse to fully lay down to sleep because the slightest wrong movement will ruin the sheet forcing you to do this again in the morning.
