Even men don't care about the day.
Well, I'm not international so...
Nice try, Pitbull. We all know it’s you!
I had no idea there was one.
Except on women’s day
The day that does more to remind men what being valued looks like than men's day does.
Every day is men's day!
High five, broskis!
/s ? I think? Maybe?
Honestly, I know very few international men.
I only know one. And hes also a mystery...
maybe if women asked about women's day on men's day then men would know about men's day
There should be 'intentional men's day', for FTM people.
I don't complain because I like women
Isn’t international men’s day everyday?
International Women's Day is March 8. I had to look that up, but I'm confident that HR at my workplace will send out an email that week as they do every year.
Interesting that people feel like they're trolling people by asking a question there actually is a factual answer for as if it's underlining some unfairness. Doesn't work the same way as if there is not answer for the question. Actually shouldn't you be happy you have a factual answer when someone trolls you with "When's International Men's Day?"
Also HR didn't notify me of International Men's Day this week as they always do for International Women's Day. The post above is the first I've heard of it. But thanks for letting me know this exists!
If an International Men's day was completely non-controversial, there would be no need for it.
The fact that there is controversy indicates that there probably should be a day for discussion about it. I mean there isn't much point to any International X Day, but if there's a value for X that would be upsetting for some people, then maybe would should have a day for that to discuss why that is? People are writing articles and we're discussing it right now, and there is value to that.
So why is it controversial to have an International Men's Day?
