I was fully against splitting Wicked into two films. That being says part one was basically a perfect adaptation. I'm planning to see part two next weekend (purely for scheduling reasons) and I fully expect it will be excellent.

Songs and story isn't as good as the first film which I think everyone has known and expected. Was still entertaining. Acting from most of the leads was great and the sets and costumes were fantastic again.
Loved the movie personally. I kind of expected it to be worse than the first one, and there is a degree to which being a Wicked fan means being willing to suspend disbelief on some of the finer plot points of the second half, since you know they're working around the plot of Wizard of Oz while simultaneously re-writing all the characters. But the acting completely sold it for me. Grande and Erivo really managed to capture the very complicated love/relationship between Elphaba and Glinda (particularly in re: Glinda's whole comphet closeted thing). Honestly probably going to watch it again some time on a discount ticket day.
I hated both lead characters.
