I didnt like they took out the union lyrics in denji's song, but over all it was a fine adaptation 8/10

Thanks for pointing this out. I don't read the manga so I didn't know this.
Mappa removed a few lines from scene with aki and the future devil, probably to make the anime more serious, but the biggest one is when they removed the battle against the muscle devil which happens during denji's first meeting with makima
Honestly that's a change I'm fine with, losing the muscle devil doesn't detract from the story that much
I read the manga after watching the anime and can recommend. It's more of the same. Poor Denji.
CSM made the "hand-holding is too lewd" meme a reality.
