It's just good to get something in this website for casual viewing whilst refreshing original content is added overtime.

Why can't you turn off emojis?
I meant the AI stickers.
I think this is because they are part of the Unicode standard so they're just standard characters. That's pure speculation though.
Because this setting is in the emoji section of the keyboard. That AI stickers option is for stickers you've already made (including from your own pictures), or you can prompt for an AI generated one if you have drawing assist turned on. If you tap ai stickers there in that screenshot it brings you to the option to turn that off (but doesn't get rid of the button in the emoji section of the keyboard).
If you want to get rid of that entire section, you can remove the button to get to the emojis.
Which OS / app is this for?
Keyboard app on the OneUI 8.0 (Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra).
I struggle with typing on the Futo keyboard so far but it might be an option for you, I want to like and use it. It's on my phone but just not quite there "for me"
Degoogled OSs don't have these problems. Other problems, but no AI.

I don't know, but in difference to Hacker's Keyboard it still receives updates.
What's for sure better (for my use case) is the broad range of layout customization.

It's the emojis. Damn yellow faces.
Made a big turn around anything Samsung related ever since they made their OS use MS Sans for who knows what reason. :)
