Pretty sure his opponent would have been worse, but mow is a good time to quit to be replaced by some other Dem.

[–] SeductiveTortoise@piefed.social 9 points 1 month ago

*by some real Dem

Agreed. He isn’t the same person the people voted for. He became an agent

[–] njm1314@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

He is absolutely the same person. This is always what he was.

What an odd thing to say without preceding it with a resignation.

[–] flatplutosociety@lemmy.world 14 points 1 month ago (1 children)

According to former staffers, he REALLY thinks he has a shot at running for president.

[–] NABDad@lemmy.world 16 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Wow. That stroke really fucked up his basic reasoning skills.

[–] flatplutosociety@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Yeah, his brain is cooked. He seriously needs to resign.

[–] Lumisal@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

The stroke blocks most of the brain sparks - this one just happened to get through briefly.

Hey, we finally agree on something.

[–] switcheroo@lemmy.world 17 points 1 month ago (1 children)

YES YOU SHOULD HAVE.

it's not too late to quit and save your state who did not vote for a fucking Republicunt Dino

[–] Rhynoplaz@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

I humbly request we not use Dino anymore. That's just copying something the Republicans came up with, and there's absolutely no reason we need to copy anything they've been doing.

yeah no duh

He details that his depression reached the point where his wife would not let him come home and that he lived in his parents’ basement in York.

Wow what a great wife...

[–] NABDad@lemmy.world 39 points 1 month ago

Could be a shitty wife. Could be a husband who burned up any compassion she had years before.

I don't know enough about her to judge her motivation.

[–] aramis87@fedia.io 17 points 1 month ago

Honestly, given his personality changes, I would not be surprised to hear that he's become verbally or possibly even physically abusive at home.

Better late than never.

[–] Nastybutler@lemmy.world 14 points 1 month ago

The best time to have quit was then. The next best time to quit is now.

Fetterman should decide where he actually sits politically and express that in a come-to-Jesus manifesto.

That would settle a lot of trouble that has come from his time in office. People just want a representative government to act in good faith.
