Always nice when the trash takes itself out.

Truth and honesty are always abhorrent to evil liars

[–] Geobloke@aussie.zone 1 points 15 minutes ago

Yeah, didn't that bloke live in Brazil for a while

[–] favoredponcho@lemmy.zip 13 points 2 hours ago

Criminals hate Mamdani? He must be a standup guy.

[–] frustrated_phagocytosis@fedia.io 22 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

I'd feel bad if I didn't think his so-called 'family' was imaginary. Also that he needs to leave because his freshly pardoned ass can't afford to live there anymore.

[–] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 13 points 4 hours ago

Pardons are expensive.

He's only out because the check cleared.

[off topic]

You have to stand in awe of the chutzpah of George Santos.

Convicted criminal acting like he's a moral exemplar.

[–] jubilationtcornpone@sh.itjust.works 30 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Even the rest of the Republicans wouldn't piss on George Santos if he were on fire. That's kind of impressive given their affinity for scumbags and criminals.

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 14 points 4 hours ago

What I came to say! Imagine a Republican so morally bankrupt that even the GOP wouldn't circle wagons for him. Hell, they put up with MTG, Boebert and Matt Gaetz had to fire himself.

That guy is action-packed with undiagnosed mental illness.

[–] PunnyName@lemmy.world 6 points 3 hours ago

Mostly delusions of grandeur.

[–] lectricleopard@lemmy.world 4 points 2 hours ago

To be fair, this guy's whole life feels like an own goal, let alone this one comment.

See also the whining about the hundreds of cops quitting the NYPD after Zohran's election, as if it's a bad thing that that particular gang is hemorrhaging pieces of walking garbage.

[–] Madison420@lemmy.world 27 points 5 hours ago

They won't quit because they want their city retirement. It's always been a threat but not the one they say they're implying blue fluing which is why it should be mandatory to live in the area you police like it used to be.

Mamdani is really hitting the ground running 😭🙏

[–] cosmicpancake@sh.itjust.works 3 points 3 hours ago

Love to see it, Zohran actually moving fast and getting stuff done instead of grandstanding. Feels rare and honestly kind of thrilling to see a politician deliver the goods so quickly.

Don't let the applause be the finish line though, keep pushing and build on it. Celebrate the win, then hold him to the next one.

[–] Grandwolf319@sh.itjust.works 15 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Funny but idk if I trust him leaving, he lies a lot.

[–] NoForwardslashS@sopuli.xyz 2 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

I don't know, conmen usually have to move around regularly to find new marks.

[–] some_kind_of_guy@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago

And to avoid consequences!

Florida will be more than happy to take you. Being all in one place will help when we regain oir senses.

[–] cosmicpancake@sh.itjust.works 2 points 3 hours ago

He’s barely started and already making moves people said were “too radical.” Love to see it — policies>performative centrism. Keep pushing, Zohran — the more he delivers, the more the usual suspects will melt down.
