I don't get the fascination with Musk. He's boring, his writing lacks any signs of cleverness or spark, and he's still physically unattractive after all that plastic surgery. What gives?

[–] Jankatarch@lemmy.world 3 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago)

"He looked kinda like a cool billionaire when I was 14 and saw no other adults knowing about memes." I assume.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 2 points 8 hours ago

so not CURTIS, an actual republican, and cumuo the sex pest.

[–] Blackmist@feddit.uk 55 points 22 hours ago (4 children)

Pretending he doesn't know how his name is spelled, as if Mamdani hasn't spent the last months living rent free in Musk's head.

I kinda read it as shoehorning "dummy" into the name like a 2nd grade bully. That is very in the rightwing playbook.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 14 points 19 hours ago* (last edited 19 hours ago)

He might have soft censored the correct spelling and now needs to tiptoe around it

Sort of like how he bans anyone who uses "cisgender"

just like how DRUMPF always use PEEKABOO james, for the kentanji james judge.

[–] SethTaylor@lemmy.world 2 points 14 hours ago

Rent free, you say? Now THAT'S affordable! No wonder he won!

[–] Wilco@lemmy.zip 10 points 18 hours ago

Republicans are the pedo party.

Don't they are full of plastic and gods know what else, take them to the bottom of an abandoned mine that's long and confusing then just leave them there no ligh, no food, no nothing. If they can make their way out they get a rat infested house in central Idaho with no electricity, gas, or plumbing to exist out of.

says the Lone Skum, or whatever his name is

He apparently wants $1T to stop doing this and there's no guaranty he'd stop.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 13 points 19 hours ago

Why would he stop? His brain is pudding and he just got handed $1T

[–] tigeruppercut@lemmy.zip 26 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Why is an account called trumptracker with an 8647 badge paying for a blue check on shitter?

[–] Quill7513@slrpnk.net 29 points 1 day ago (3 children)

there's a lot of morons who think staying on twitter while being leftish is an act of defiance and not providing the nazi bot farm the engagement it needs to perpetuate its evil. they make false equivalency comparisons saying things like leaving twitter is like fleeing a country, abandoning the people without the resources to flee. the problem with that argument is EVERYONE has the resources to leave twitter. no one is trapped on twitter, forced to stay (though the department of homeland security is surely trying by demanding all immigrants show their major social media platform posting history)

[–] Credibly_Human@lemmy.world 2 points 7 hours ago

Different for politicians etc who can't afford to lose that outreach

For users, absolutely.

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 6 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

It only benefits Xitter because without left-leaning people on the platform to abuse, the Nazi engagement would dry up.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 1 points 5 hours ago

theres still too much brands on there that havnt left the platform.

[–] Jaysyn@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago

Yup. I closed my account the day before Musk took ownership. Haven't missed a fucking thing.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 4 points 19 hours ago

To talk to Daddy

[–] WhatThaFudge@lemmy.world 39 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Intentionally misspelling someones name just makes you sound like an insecure 5yr old. Oh wait.. mentally I guess it fits.

[–] cmbabul@lemmy.world 4 points 19 hours ago

It’s the exact kinda shit Trump would do, he’s just funnier than Musk, which is a low bar to clear but it’s true

[–] 87Six@lemmy.zip 3 points 21 hours ago

Got the joke from one of his unfortunate girlfriends

[–] Lemminary@lemmy.world 2 points 19 hours ago

Ironic coming from the guy who named his daughter X-AE-Uh or whatever that bullshit was and expected everyone to go along with that.

[–] Best_Jeanist@discuss.online 19 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Why are you still using Twitter you Nazi apologists (not you OP, the person in the tweet)

I disagree - endorsing 3 sexual predators is actually quite a lot.

Also weird he didn't deny it.

[–] zarkanian@sh.itjust.works 70 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Weird that he can't think of something better.

[–] Fedizen@lemmy.world 18 points 1 day ago

What is he going to do? Not endorse the extremely relatable sex pest?

[–] edgemaster72@lemmy.world 164 points 1 day ago (8 children)

He had 20 hours to think of a response, and that's what he came up with? How the hell did anyone think he was smart?

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 2 points 8 hours ago

20 minutes after using ketamine.

[–] simulacra_procession@lemmy.today 3 points 18 hours ago

He had just woken up from his k-hole nap okay? Sheesh

[–] hayvan@feddit.nl 8 points 1 day ago

He's rich so he must be very smart and a moral ideal.

I find it incredibly funny that everyone seems to forget or intentionally ignore that Sliwa is also running

he's that much of a goofball that the Republicans won't support him even though he's the literal official Republican candidate lmfao

[–] jjjalljs@ttrpg.network 90 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Maybe if Sliwa did some crimes, preferably with sexual assault or high finance, republicans would respect him more.

[–] AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world 37 points 1 day ago

It shows that he really isn't fully engaged with the party's platform.

[–] ordnance_qf_17_pounder@reddthat.com 78 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Zohran is going to walk it and the cope from these fascist fucks will be delicious
