That’s how the defense counsel for Sean Dunn, the man who threw a sub-style sandwich at a Border Patrol officer in Washington, DC, this summer began the federal trial against him Tuesday morning.

This is stupid because of the charge itself, but also because when the jury, pulled from a population which is literally 90% opposed to Trump, acquits this man, it's going to be a big, very visible reminder for everyone paying attention, of the massive power juries have to oppose tyranny.

I think expecting any such justice from the courts is a folly, they'll find whatever jury of bootlickers they want to get the rulings they want. Rule of law is dead in the U.S.
