Just say Americans. They/we are the ones funding these people. It's time to stop sugar coating it and start blaming the entire country and their lifestyle culture. If we were paying taxes we helped too. If we played into their marketed political narration, it's on us as well for being naive.

A person cannot choose where they are born, and it is not easy to move to another country. You cannot blame those who paid taxes at threat of imprisonment.
